The Brooklyn Nets defeated the Orlando Magic, 82-74, on Sunday at the Barclays Center. The Nets have now won back-to-back games while completing a home-and-home sweep of the Magic.
The Nets jumped out to a 35-17 lead after the first quarter. The game would tighten up as the Magic outscored the Nets in each of the last three quarters. Orlando had to chip away at the Brooklyn lead from inside the arc as it was ice cold from beyond the arc (1-for-12). As the game came to a close the teams traded buckets which prevented a comeback.
Brook Lopez led the Nets with 20 points while Kris Humphries had 14 points and 21 rebounds. Glen Davis had a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Magic. Nikola Vucevic also had a double-double for Orlando with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
The Nets (3-2) will play their next game on Tuesday at the Barclays Center against the Cleveland Cavaliers (2-4).
