The New York Knicks stayed perfect this season with a 104-94 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. At 4-0, they are the NBA's only remaining undefeated team. This is New York's best start since the 1993-94 season, when they started 7-0 and advanced to the NBA Finals.

Carmelo Anthony led the way on Friday night with 31 points and seven rebounds. Tyson Chandler added 11 points and nine rebounds against his former team. The Mavericks were led by O.J. Mayo, who had 23 points and seven rebounds.

Around the Atlantic Division, the Philadelphia 76ers held on to beat the Boston Celtics, 106-100. The Sixers are currently 3-2, and both of their losses came against the Knicks. Boston dropped to 2-3 as their defense continues to struggle.

The Brooklyn Nets picked up their second win of the season on Friday over the Orlando Magic. In a 107-68 blowout, Brook Lopez scored 14 and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Nets.
