Miami Dolphins' center Mike Pouncey had some things to say about Aaron Maybin on Thursday. Maybin called out Reggie Bush for some comments about Darrelle Revis on Wednesday, and Pouncey had the following to say in response about Maybin on Thursday (via NJ.com):
"I have to be on punt block to say something to him. I don't even want to talk about him. He's a joke. He won't even play enough to hurt Reggie."
"I think it's just him wanting to get known, to finally hear his name get said in the NFL. I don't know why Aaron Maybin is talking. He's done nothing in this league."
Jets and Dolphins players have been going back and forth in regards to the Week 3 contest between the two teams, with LaRon Landry's hit on Reggie Bush being the focal point. Bush believes that the Jets were intending to injure him during that contest, and claimed that they deserved the injury that happened to Revis later that afternoon.
The Jets will be hosting the Dolphins Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET, with the game being aired on CBS. The Jets are currently 3-4, while the Dolphins have played one less game and are 3-3. The Jets won the September meeting 23-20 in overtime.
