The rivalry between the New England Patriots and New York Jets continues Sunday as the AFC East foes battle at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

This time, it's a case of two 3-3 teams in search of an identity, and a one-game lead in the division to themselves if Buffalo loses to Tennessee.

The Patriots are coming off a disappointing loss to the Seattle Seahawks, while the Jets are running high on the heels of a 35-9 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

But the Patriots have had the Jets' number as of late, outscoring them 112-40 in their last three regular-season meetings. Their last meeting in November of 2011, the Pats cut up the Jets en route to a 37-16 victory.

With Darrelle Revis forced to watch from the sidelines with a season-ending ACL injury, the Patriots will likely look to the air once again and exploit Rex Ryan's secondary, while also keeping the Jets honest with a running attack that's been featured more than in recent seasons.

For New York, running back Shonn Greene may have turned into the centerpiece of their offense. Santonio Holmes is out for the season, while tight end Dustin Keller and center Nick Mangold each enter the game with injuires that will have them playing at less than 100 percent.

Greene rushed for a career-best 161 yards last weekend.
