New York Islanders Vs. Toronto Maple Leafs: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Islanders are looking to make it four straight tonight with a road win at Toronto.

On Monday night the New York lslanders will square off against the Maple Leafs in the Air Canada Centre.

The Islanders come in winners of three straight and four of their last five. New York is within two games of the.500 mark and at the beginning of the day, finds itself seven points behind Toronto. This game marks the first of a home-and-home that will culminate Tuesday night in the Nassau Coliseum. If the Islanders have any designs of a late season surge towards the playoffs, two wins in the next two nights would go a long way.

New York has a nice opportunity over the next few weeks. After beating perennial powers Philadelphia and Washington, the Islanders dispatched Carolina and now plays their next five games against teams currently outside the playoff picture.

New York will need it's stars to continue leading this team to victory. John Tavares is the unquestioned star of the group, pacing the team in points with 48. Of course, it was Tavares who won the last game for the Isles, scoring both goals against the Hurricanes.

The game is at 7:00 p.m. and can be seen on MSG+.
