2012 NBA All-Star Game Balloting: Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire Remain Steady

New York Knicks forwards Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire remain second and third among Eastern Conference forwards, respectively, after the second returns of 2012 NBA All-Star balloting, which the NBA announced on Thursday.

Anthony and Lebron James seem sure to start at forward for the Eastern Conference. James received 972,580 votes and Anthony is second among Eastern forwards with 779,945 votes. Stoudemire is a distant third after being marked on 281,617 ballots, and will likely need to be selected by coaches as a reserve.
