East-West Shrine Game: Justin Francis, Desmond Wynn Represent Rutgers

On Saturday, two Rutgers Scarlet Knights football players -- defensive tackle Justin Francis and offensive guard Desmond Wynn -- will participate in the longest-running college all-start football showcase, the East-West Shrine Game, in St. Petersburgh, FL (4 p.m. on NFL Network). Francis (6-foot-4, 275 pounds) and Wynn (6-6, 295) will try to showcase their talents to NFL scouts, general managers and front office brass in hopes of improving their 2012 NFL Draft stock.

"Last year, South Florida defensive tackle Terrell McClain boosted his draft stock here," wrote Ryan Van Bibber of Turf Show Times. "Ditto North Carolina DT Marvin Austin, who began his image rehab here after his suspension at UNC."

Wynn will play for the East squad coached by former San Diego Chargers and Detroit Lions head coach Bobby Ross. Francis will play for the West squad coached by former Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress.
