In a story that continues to get murkier and murkier as it progress, a report surfaced Saturday that the fourth Bernie Fine accuser admitted in a letter that he lied to police about the former Syracuse basketball assists coach sexual abusing him almost 40 years ago.
↵↵↵"(VanHooser) says he wanted to get back at the coach, Bernie Fine, because he did not hire a lawyer to help VanHooser fight a criminal conviction," says the report.

Though, the information is interesting it just makes it harder to try and piece together what actually happened and who to believe, as back in late November the District Attorney in charge of the case, William Fitzpatrick, said that VanHooser's testimony wasn't credible.
↵On Nov. 17, two former ball boys -- Bobby Davis and Mike Lang -- did an interview with ESPN and claimed that Fine had sexual abused them from the 1970s-90s. Since there, two more victims have come forward.
