Red Sox: Ellsbury HR Helps Boston Salvage Doubleheader Split: The Yankees and Red Sox split a doubleheader Sunday, with the second game lasting 14 inning before Boston was able to get a victory it desperately needed. For Yankee fans, it certainly would have been nice to see the Yankees sweep the Red Sox and knock them into a tie for the AL wild-card. It wasn't to be, though.
