Here is your Week 3 Start/Sit Fantasy Football guide for the New York Jets. As always, projections from numberFire will be combined with our own analysis.

START

Mark Sanchez (QB)
numberFire Projection: 19.66 completion, 215.80 yards, 1.24 TDs, 0.98 INTs, 13.30 Fantasy Points

Analysis: Sanchez is still not an elite 'numbers' quarterback, but he won't hurt you.

Shonn Greene (RB)
numberFire Projection: 14.93 carries, 65.21 yards, 0.72 TDs; 1.24 catches, 11.27 yards, 0.02 TDs, 12.10 Fantasy Points

Analysis: The Jets have not really gotten their "ground and pound" running attack going yet this season. Expect a heavy dose of Greene Sunday as they try to do just that.

Santonio Holmes (WR)
numberFire Proejection: 3.78 catches, 55.39 yards, 0.26 TDs, 7.17 Fantasy Points

Analysis: Always Sancherz's top target among Jets' wide receivers.

Dustin Keller (TE)
numberFire Projection: 4.26 catches, 45.73 yards, 0.36 TDs, 6.75 Fantasy Points

Analysis: Play the man.

Nick Folk (PK)
numberFire Projection: 1.30 field goals, 2.31 extra points, 6.73 Fantasy Points

Analysis: If Folk is the kicker on your roster, no reason not to play him.

Jets Defense
numberFire Projection: 8.18 Fantasy Points

Analysis: What is there to think about here? Play 'em.

SIT

LaDainian Tomlinson (RB)
numberFire Projection: 6.30 carries, 29.19 yards, 0.15 TDs; 1.07 catches, 8.86 yards, 0.03 TDs, 4.88 Fantasy Points

Analysis: Tomlinson used to be a star, but he doesn't see the ball enough anymore to make him worth a roster spot, much less a place in your lineup.

Plaxico Burress (WR)

Analysis: numberFire didn't even rate Plax this week after he did not catch a pass against Jacksonville.
