Seems like most folks who vote on NFL Power Rankings are in agreement with the gurus who put together the weekly SB Nation NFL Power Rankings. In this week's aggregated rankings from Real Clear Sports, averaging the rankings from eight Internet sources, the New York Jets are No. 3 and the New York Giants No. 17. That is exactly where SB Nation placed both New York teams.
The 2-0 Jets were ranked No. 2 by the Sagarin Rankings and No. 4 by both FOX Sports and Pro Football Talk. The 1-1 Giants were ranked 16th by CBS and the Sagarin Rankings and as low as No. 18 by ESPN and The Sporting News.
The Jets begin a stretch of three straight road games this weekend when the travel to face the Oakland Raiders. After that the Jets have road games against Baltimore and New England, The Giants travel to Philadelphia this weekend to face the NFC East rival Eagles.
