The New York Jets have risen to No. 3 in the Week 3 NFL Power Rankings released by SB Nation. The 2-0 Jets won easily Sunday, defeating Jacksonville, 32-3. The 1-1 New York Giants are No. 17 after a mostly unimpressive 28-16 Monday Night Football victory over the St. Louis Rams.

The Jets are up from No. 5 a week ago, and are now behind only the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots in the SB Nation rankings. The Jets have a trio of road games coming up against the Oakland Raiders, Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots.

The Giants moved up one spot from No. 18, but they did not look crisp against the Rams. Their offense was inconsistent and their pass defense was shredded by Rams quarterback Sam Bradford. The Giants travel to Philadelphia Sunday to face their NFC East nemesis, the Philadelphia Eagles, The Giants have lost to the Eagles six consecutive times, and the first two weeks of the season have not really given any indication that the Giants are ready to change that.
