Before the New York Jets took on the Dallas Cowboys, there was an amazing tribute on the field to those lost on September 11, 2001 as well as the heroes that emerged on that fateful day.
Robert De Niro opened up the tribute from the National 9/11 Memorial at Ground Zero and was followed by Sgt. Jeffrey A. Frank performing a moving version of Taps from the 9/11 Memorial in Hoboken, NJ. We were then taken back to MetLife Stadium and another great performance, this time from the Port Authority Police, NYPD, + FDNY Pipes & Drum Band.↵
A field-length American flag was then opened up while Lady Antebellum delivered a moving rendition of the National Anthem.↵
Check out the video of the entire tribute.↵
