Stay Thirsty, winner of the Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga Race Course earlier in the 2011 Saratoga meet, has been installed as the 5-2 morning line favorite for Saturday's 142nd running of the Midsummer Derby. Stay Thirsty got the No. 9 post position in Wednesday's post position draw.
Haskell Invitational champ Coil is the second choice in the morning line at 3-1. Coil drew the No. 7 post position. Preakness winner Shackleford is 9-2, and will be coming from the outside No. 10 post position in the 10-horse field.
Ruler On Ice, who won the the Belmont Stakes as a 24-1 longshot, is a 6-1 choice in the morning line. Ruler On Ice drew the No. 4 post position.
