NFL Preseason 2011, Week 2: Giants Have Lost Three Players For Season So Far: Tuesday could not have been much worse for the New York Giants. They lost Terrell Thomas, Brian Witherspoon and Marvin Austin to season-ending injuries suffered Monday night against the Chicago Bears. It seems like the Giants have been reeling ever since training camp began.

Yankees Vs. Athletics: Yankee Rally Falls Just Short In 6-5 Loss: The Yankees were behind 6-0 heading to the bottom of the eighth inning, and nearly completed a dramatic comeback. Nick Swisher's ninth-inning bases loaded drive died on the warning track to end the game, though, as New York fell one run short.
