Can Terrelle Pryor play quarterback in the NFL? We will find out in a few days if there is an NFL team that believes he can. The league has ruled Pryor, the disgraced former Ohio State quarterback eligible for the 2011 NFL Supplemental Draft. The draft has been re-scheduled for Monday, Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. ET.
↵Pryor will be allowed to enter the supplemental draft, but Commissioner Roger Goodell also ruled that Pryor will be ineligible to practice or play in the first five regular-season games after he signs with an NFL team.
↵Goodell ruled that Pryor "made decisions that undermine the integrity of the eligibility rules for the NFL Draft."
↵Pryor lost his eligibility at Ohio State after it was determined that he had failed to cooperate with the NCAA and had hired an agent in violation of NCAA rules.
↵So, New York Jets and New York Giants fans, anyone have interest in taking a flier on Pryor?
↵Here, incidentally, are the other five players eligible for the supplemental draft:
