Morning Coffee! Still Locked Out Edition

Good morning New York sports fans! Here's what's happening on this steamy Friday:

↵

Is The Lockout Over? The owners voted 31-0 to pass the new CBA, but the players weren't exactly doing cartwheels over the whole thing. There's more squabbling and contentious talk between the two sides, and no one knows what will happen next.

↵

New York Yankees Lose, 2-1: CC Sabathia threw a complete game only allowing a pair of runs, but that wasn't enough, as Tampa Bay's James Shields was even better. Robinson Cano's RBI double was the only offense the Yankees could muster up.

↵

New York Mets Lose, 6-2: Did Carlos Beltran play his last game in Queens? If he did, he went out on the losing end, as sloppy fielding and not much hitting doomed the Mets, as they failed in their attempt to sweep the St. Louis Cardinals.

↵

Brandon Dubinsky Signs on the Dotted Line: The New York Rangers and their left wing/center avoided arbitration by agreeing to a four-year, $16.8 million contract. It was a good move for both sides, and the Blueshirts off-season keeps getting better.
