The French Open tennis tournament has reached its final weekend, with the men's semfinals beginning Friday morning (8 a.m. ET) and the women's final Saturday (9 a.m., NBC).

In the men's draw, things have gone exactly according to plan as the four top seeds will face off today. Top-seeded Rafael Nadal faces fourth-seeded Andy Murray and second-seeded Novak Djokovic faces third-seeded Roger Federer.

↵

That is hardly the case in the women's draw. Saturday's final will pit sixth-seeded Li Na against fifth-seeded Francesa Schiavone, a finals matchup few probably saw coming when the event began.
