Red Bulls Trade Stunner: Dwayne De Rosario For Dax McCarty: De Rosario is a world-class midfielder the Red Bulls acquired in a trade earlier this season. Now, they have shipped him to DC United for the younger, less talented and much less expensive midfielder Dax McCarty. It is that last part -- less expensive -- that might be the key to this deal. The Red Bulls, who have championship aspirations in 2011, are an unsatisfying 5-3-9. The work of goalkeepers Greg Sutton and Bouna Coundoul has been less than desirable thus far and the defense has not always been good. New York might be setting itself up for more midseason roster juggling.
