US Open 2011 Round 1: Lunchtime Leaderboard

The 111th edition of the US Open golf tournament is five hours old and currently Ryan Palmer (USA) leads the field at three-under par thru 12 holes. Palmer birdied holes No. 1, 8 and 10 at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD. and leads Johan Edfors (Sweden) and Jeff Overton (USA) by just one stroke.

Defending champion Graeme McDowell (Northern Ireland) is currently one-under par thru 14 holes. Also at one-under par is fan favorite Davis Love III, who has played 13 holes. Phil Mickelson's tee time is not until 1:35 p.m.

If you'd like to check out the tournament, but can't find it on TV ESPN is broadcasting live until 3 p.m. when NBC picks up the television coverage. NBC will show golf until 5 p.m. when the TV schedule returns to ESPN, which ends its Thursday coverage at 7 p.m.
