Good morning, New York/New Jersey sports fans! Let's get started with our first look at the regional sports scene this morning.

Yankees Fall To Indians, 1-0; Derek Jeter Injured: The 1-0 loss to Cleveland was hard to take. The sight of Derek Jeter, six hits from 3,000, hobbling off the field in the fifth inning was harder to take. There are just three games remaining in the current homestand as Jeter tries to get to 3,000. Does anybody really want to see Jeter get to 3,000 at Wrigley Field against the Chicago Cubs? That just doesn't seem right.

Pirates 3, Mets 1: .500 Mark Remains Elusive: The Mets keep flirting with the .500 mark and falling short. Better than not getting close to it at all, I suppose.

Stanley Cup Finals 2011, Game 6: Boston Barrage Forces Game 7: The Boston Bruins acted like Vancouver goalie Roberto Luongo wasn't even there Monday night -- and pretty soon he wasn't. Three quick goals chased Luongo, and the Bruins went to win Game 6, 5-2.

Plaxico Burress Admits Rebelling Against Coughlin: It was pretty obvious when Burress played for the New York Giants that he really did not appreciate the stern ways of coach Tom Coughlin. Now, Burress has admitted rebelling against the coach.
