Notre Dame's Mike Brey, Villanova's Jay Wright and Pittsburgh's Jamie Dixon are on the short list of candidates. In South Bend, there is worry that Brey -- a Maryland native -- has his eye on the Maryland job."He certainly loves Notre Dame and feels good about the direction of the program," said former DeMatha (Md.) Catholic High School boys basketball coach Morgan Wootten, who gave Brey his start in coaching. "But he is a Maryland guy. If they called, I think he'd have to give it deep consideration.
