Fifth-seeded Seton Hall advanced to the semifinals of the 2011 Big East Conference Baseball Championship Tournament Thursday night, upsetting top-seeded Connecticut, 4-3, in 12 innings. The Pirates advance to the semifinals and will play Saturday at 6 p.m. against the winner of today's elimination game between UConn and eighth-seeded Notre Dame.
Seton Hall won Thursday's game when outfielder Dale Anderson drew a two-out, bases loaded walk to force in the winning run.
