Suggestions for 'Dancing With The Stars'

Hines Ward of the Pittsburgh Steelers has now won 'Dancing With The Stars,' along with partner Kym Johnson. We saw former New York Giant Lawrence Taylor embarrass himself a few seasons back on the show. Here are five New York athletes, or former New York athletes, we would like to see on DWTS.

  • Michael Strahan: Good old gap-tooth has done just about everything else. He's done commercials, his own show, NFL analysis for FOX, sitting in for Regis Philbin with Kelly Ripa. He's got the personality, and we think he can still move.
  • ↵
  • Walt 'Clyde' Frazier: 'Clyde' still has the larger than life persona. And we know he loves to wear the outlandish clothes. The former New York Knick is getting up there, but we think Clyde can probably still move a little.
  • ↵
  • Rex Ryan: Well, if Kirstie Alley can do it, so can Rex. We know the New York Jets coach loves feet, so this would give him a different way to use his. Besides, maybe we could get to hear him guarantee something other than Super Bowl titles.
  • ↵
  • Amani Toomer: In all honesty, the former New York Giant wide receiver was a graceful player and might acquit himself well.
  • ↵
  • David Wright: Oh, wait. The New York Mets third baseman can't do this. The team's owner, Fred Wilpon, says Wright is not a star.
