Subway Series 2011: Yankees Rally To Win Two Of Three

The New York Yankees used an eight-run eighth inning to defeat the New York Mets Sunday, and take two of three in the Subway Series. I mentioned Saturday that the excitement seems to be fading from this annual meeting, and Jeff Freier looks at that again today. Fact is, the only person who truly is attached to interleague play seems to be Commissioner Bud Selig, and he is the only one who matters.

NCAA Lacrosse Tournament: Maryland Stuns Syracuse, 6-5, In Overtime

Well, the NCAA Lacrosse Tournament champion will not come from New York in 2011. Both Syracuse and Cornell were upset losers over the weekend.
