Good morning, New York/New Jersey sports fans! Let's get going on our first look at the regional sports scene.

- The Cleveland Cavaliers got the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft Tuesday, but our Ryan Jones makes the case that the New Jersey Nets were the night's big winner. The Nets were not even in the lottery, having traded their pick to Utah for Deron Williams. The Jazz ended up with the third pick, but Jones makes the case that Williams is a better player than anyone available with that selection. ↵
- The New York Yankees remembered who they were Tuesday night, snapping their six-game losing streak with a 6-2 victory over Tampa Bay. Alex Rodriguez, in particular, remembered who he is -- blasting two monstrous home runs. ↵
- The Preakness Stakes will be held this Saturday. If you want next month's Belmont Stakes to really mean something, root for Animal Kingdom to win the race and head to New York with a Triple Crown opportunity. ↵
- New York Giants' wide receiver Steve Smith took to Facebook Tuesday to refute another negative report about his recovery from microfracture knee surgery. ↵
Have a great day, sports fans! Even if it is looking like another soggy one here in the Northeast.
