NCAA Women's Basketball National Championship Score: Notre Dame Rallies To Take 35-33 Halftime Lead Over Texas A&M

Devereaux Peters has scored a game-best 10 points and collected five rebounds to help the the No. 2-seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish take a 35-33 halftime advantage over No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies in a NCAA women's basketball National Championship game in Indianapolis, IN. The Irish (31-7) are looking for their second National Championship, its last coming in 2001. Meanwhile, the Aggies (32-5) are playing in their first National Title game.

Skylar Diggins has tallied eight points and three steals for ND, which trailed 29-16 with 8:32 to go in the first half. However, the Irish used a 19-4 run to claim a two-points advantage heading into the locker room.

Tyra White and Danielle Adams each have netted eight points for Texas A&M. Adams also had four rebounds, while teammates Sydney Colson and Adaora Elonu each over six points.

Becca Bruszewski and Natalie Novosel each have six points for ND, which has shot 59.1 percent from the field.
