Baltimore Orioles Vs. New York Yankees: Revitalized O's Lead AL East

[Note: Tonight's game has been postponed by rain. No makeup date yet announced. That is two rainouts for the Yankees already this season.]

The New York Yankees get their first look at the new Baltimore Orioles tonight when the American League East-leading Orioles come to New York to begin a three-game series at Yankee Stadium. A.J. Burnett will pitch for the Yankees and Jeremy Guthrie for Baltimore.

Both teams are only nine games into their respective seasons, but with Buck Showalter in his first full season as manager the Orioles appear to be headed in the right direction. These are not the down-trodden Birds of years past. Baltimore won six of its first seven games this season.

The Yankees are coming off a series in Boston where they lost two of three.
