Masters Leaderboard: Tiger Woods Pulls Into Tie After Nine Holes

Well, if you enjoy golf and you are near a television set you might want to stop whatever you are doing and turn on The Masters. Tigers Woods just completed a 31 on the front nine to erase a seven-shot deficit and pull into a tie with a shaky Rory McIlroy at 10-under par. Charl Schwartzel is also 10-under par.

Woods eagled the par-5 eighth hole to pull within one shot and is 5-under par through nine holes. McIlroy, trying to win his first major at age 21, is +2 through the first five holes today. Schwartzel is 2-under through six.

Also in contention are Jason Day, Angel Cabrera and K.J. Choi, all at 8-under par. Luke Donald and Adam Scott are at 7-under par.

Woods, of course, has not won a tournament since 2009. He is in search of his 15th major title. Jack Nicklaus is the all-time leader with 18 major titles.
