New York Knicks' Schedule: Week Ahead Features Meeting Tonight With Utah

The New York Knicks have no time to waste following Sunday night's 92-79 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. The Knicks (32-29) play host to the Utah Jazz tonight at Madison Square Garden, then hit the road for games Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies and Thursday against the Dallas Mavericks. The Knicks return home Sunday to host the Indiana Pacers.

Tonight's game provides the new-look Knicks their first chance to see the new-look Jazz (33-30), who now feature point guard Devin Harris and rookie forward Derrick Favors after the trade deadline deal that sent star guard Deron Williams to the New Jersey Nets. The Jazz are 2-3 since the trade, with Harris averaging 17.0 points and 7.6 assists per game and Favors getting 7.3 points 3.3 rebounds per game in limited minutes.

The Jazz, of course, also have new coach Tyrone Corbin. Corbin took over when long-time coach Jerry Sloan suddenly retired a few weeks ago.

The quick back-to-back trip to Memphis (35-29) and Dallas (45-17) and the game against Indiana (27-35) give the Knicks a chance to continue getting to know one another. The Knicks, of course, are going through a 'need a name tag to know who you are playing with phase' as the roster has been shuffled significantly in the past couple of weeks.
