- NFL LOCKOUT: The NFL and NFLPA finally agreed on something Thursday -- they agreed to extend the deadline for negotiations of a new collective bargaining agreement another 24 hours before players get locked out. How much that means no one is really sure, but it can't be a bad thing. ↵
- NHL: The New York Rangers continued sliding in the wrong direction Thursday, losing to the Minnesota Wild, 3-1. The Rangers are now in eighth place in the Eastern Conference and in danger of falling out of the playoffs. ↵
- College Hoop: The St. John's Red Storm have been surging lately, but the Seton Hall Pirates brought them back to earth on Thursday with an 84-70 upset.That's a loss that might do St. John's some good heading into the Big East Tournament. ↵
- NBA: The New York Knicks host the Cleveland Cavaliers this evening, and the New Jersey Nets are in London as the theoretical "home team" vs. the Toronto Raptors. ↵
