The New York Daily News is reporting that Barry Rohrssen will be fired as Manhattan College men's basketball coach at the conclusion of the upcoming Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Tournament. The report indicated that Rohrssen has already been informed of the decision.
↵In five seasons with Manhattan, Rohrssen is 58-93 overall at Manhattan and 37-53 in conference games. The 10th-seeded Jaspers are 6-24 entering Friday’s MAAC tournament game against No. 7 Siena (12-17). The Daily News reported that the school will honor the year remaining on Rohrssen's contract.
