Good morning, New York/New Jersey-area sports fans! No matter the temperature outside, it is time to think warm thoughts. The Boys of Summer return this week as the 2011 Major League Baseball season begins.
↵The New York Yankees and New York Mets have some final roster decisions to make before Opening Day. The Yankees have to decide on a backup catcher, backup infielder, final outfielder and probably the 12th pitcher on their staff. The Mets' biggest decision will be whether or not to keep veteran reliever Jason Isringhausen.
↵Question for you. Do you have anybody left in your NCAA Tournament bracket? I don't, and I'm guessing most people who filled out a sheet are in the same boat. A Final Four of Butler, VCU, UConn and Kentucky? Who saw that coming? As a fan of the Big East Conference, I guess I have to root for UConn to finish off their amazing post-season run with an NCAA title.
