NCAA Basketball Bracket 2011: Region-By-Region Predictions (East-Southwest Edition)

I don't know how you feel about this year's NCAA Tournament, but I am really frustrated. Why? Well, my 15 Rules To Follow while picking your bracket flopped badly (though, in my defense I don't think it was my rules more than the teams I picked). On Thursday, I tried to redeem myself by trying to predict the first half of the "Sweet 16" games.

And... I FINISHED 0-4! 0-(bleeping)-4!

Seriously, what gives March Madness? I understand that you're suppose to be exciting and unpredictable, but for once can you just commit to something? I am a good guy. Every year, I am loyal to you and don't even think about watching other sporting events behind your back... Well, ok... Yes, I took a quick glimpse at the American Idol results show Thursday night. But, that show means nothing to me. And, don't you act like you didn't check out Idol too. How couldn't you? The shows best singer, Casey Abrams, was voted off and then saved by the judges, which led to a 19-year-old almost having a heart attack on stage.

That's not a good enough excuse? Come on, March Madness, don't do this to me! I don't think I've never been more embarrassed than I am right now. I don't know how much more I have to give. What can I do to make things right?

What? You'll give me a second chance? You're going to save me like Steven Tyler, JLo and Randy Jackson did to Abrams? Oh... oh my...

I don't know what to say. This means so much to me. I promise, I wont let you down in the second half of round four. Thank you!

(Game predictions can be found at the top of the page, click on the contests you'd like to read about, then go with the opposite team that I picked. I promise you, that strategy will work.)

Before I make my "second chance" predictions, here are the NCAA bracket updated:
