By now I know you are suffering a little bit of NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament withdrawal. You still have to wait a couple more days to scratch that itch, but there is plenty of sports action on television this evening to keep you entertained, especially if you happen to enjoy women's college basketball.
There is a full slate of games in the second round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, with action on ESPN2 getting underway at 7:05 p.m. At that time top-seeded UConn is in action against ninth-seeded Purdue. The Rutgers women face Texas A&M at 9:40 p.m..
There is one NIT game this evening, as No. 7 Kent State takes on top-seeded Colorado at 9 p.m. on ESPN.
All of the regional NHL teams are also in action. The New Jersey Devils face the Boston Bruins (7 p.m., MSG+), the New York Rangers host the Florida Panthers (7 p.m., MSG) and the New York Islanders meet the Tampa Bay Lightning (7:30 p.m., MSG+2).
