NIT Tournament 2011: Top-Seeded Boston College Routed By Northwestern

Two second-round games are on tap today in the NIT Tournament. Top-seeded Virginia Tech hosts fourth-seeded Wichita State (11 a.m., ESPN), and sixth-seeded Fairfield hosts seventh-seeded Kent State (12:30 p.mm., ESPNU).

In second-round games played thus far, fourth-seeded Northwestern advanced by routing top-seeded Boston College, 85-67, No. 1 Colorado defeated California, 89-72, and No. 6 College of Charleston defeated No. 2 Cleveland State, 64-56.
