The Big East Conference finished the second round of 2011 NCAA Tournament with a 7-4 record. The No. 1 Pittsburgh Panthers, No. 5 West Virginia Mountaineers, No. 6 Cincinnati Bearcats and No. 3 UConn Huskies earned victories on Thursday. On Friday, No. 3 Syracuse Orange, No. 11 Marquette Golden Eagles and No. 2 Notre Dame Fighting Irish all won.
All in all, it has been a solid two days for Big East basketball fans. However, now things get a bit harder as the competition gets a bit tougher. Here are the Big East matchups for Saturday:
