Super Bowl Kickoff Approaches, Packers Remain Favorites

Kickoff of Super Bowl 45 between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers is just about four hours away as I type this. The Packers, as they have been since the beginning, remain 2.5 – 3-point favorites to defeat the Steelers this afternoon.

By now you know that Ben Roethlisberger of the Steelers is going for his third Super Bowl ring, and Aaron Rodgers, quarterback of the Packers, is looking for his first. Yeah, yeah, blah, blah. Let’s talk about some of the important stuff.

How about those Super Bowl commercials? SB Nation has an overview of those. How about some Super Bowl recipes? Gotcha covered there, too.

How about a little pre-game fun with the Puppy Bowl, which kicks off at 3 p.m. ET.

If you really care about the nitty gritty stuff like who is singing the national anthem, performing at halftime all thart stuff you can find out here.

If you are here, you are most likely a fan of either the New York Jets or New York Giants. If you missed our look at New York’s Super Bowl history this week, go back and check it out.
