It has been a miserable week weather-wise in North Texas, site of Super Bowl XLV Sunday evening between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers. Conditions are not expected to improve a whole lot between now and game time. Below is a look at the Dallas forecast for Sunday. Not pretty.
We talked earlier about whether or not the difficulties in North Texas this week are a bad sign for the 2014 Super Bowl at New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey. No one in the Northeast wants to believe that will be the case. We all believe we know how to handle these conditions better than those in other parts of the country who are not accustomed to this type of bad weather. We have to hope that really is the case.
SB Nation's Joel Thorman is in Dallas and he has more on the weather and how it is impacting the scene around Cowboys Stadium this week.
Even with more snow possible for Sunday, the folks in Texas are getting a little tired of hearing about the weather.
