New York Knicks vs. Dallas Mavericks: Well-Rested Knicks Face Streaking Mavs

The Knicks got a much needed respite after their short-handed win over the Pistons. Three full days after Sunday's victory, New York should be at relatively full strength as they face the Dallas Mavericks. Wilson Chandler will return from injury (likely off the bench), while* Shawne Williams will be eligible to play after serving his one-game suspension. Amar'e Stoudemire, who's been playing through a sprained knee, and Raymond Felton, who's been playing through a sprained everything, should be rested and recharged as well. After a breakout performance on Sunday, Timofey Mozgov should get a chance off the bench as well.

The Mavs, meanwhile, bring a five-win streak to the Garden, having most recently swept a three-game home stand. Back to form two weeks after an extended absence, Dirk Nowitzki will likely face a carousel of smaller defenders: Danilo Gallinari, Shawne Williams, and perhaps Chandler.

The two teams, who famously traded blowouts, have yet to face one another this year, but Dallas knows Knick captain Amar'e Stoudemire well from their playoff battles with Phoenix.

Knicks-Mavericks will tip off at 7:30. See Posting and Toasting for more Knicks coverage.

* Chandler will not play, missing his third straight game due to a sore calf.
