The Seton Hall men's basketball team looks to return to its winning ways on Friday night against the West Virginia Mountaineers at 9 p.m. (ESPN2), two days after the Pirates were rudely awakened by the No. 1 Syracuse Orange in their Big East opener.

Seton Hall entered its meeting with Syracuse boasting an eight-game winning streak, but fell behind 34-15 by halftime and never got closer than 18 points during the second half. Jordan Theodore was the only Pirate who managed double figures, scoring 14 points while adding four rebounds and two assists. Herb Pope, the Big East's second-leading scorer, was held to just four points in the loss, though he did snatch nine rebounds.

West Virginia has won six of its last seven games, including an 83-69 home victory on Wednesday in the Mountaineers' Big East opener. The Mountaineers are led by Kevin Jones, who leads the team with averages of 20.4 points and 11.5 rebounds.
