Jordan Theodore was the only Pirate who managed double figures, scoring 14 points while adding four rebounds and two assists. Herb Pope, the Big East's second-leading scorer, was held to just four points in the loss, though he did snatch nine rebounds.
West Virginia has won six of its last seven games, including an 83-69 home victory on Wednesday in the Mountaineers' Big East opener. The Mountaineers are led by Kevin Jones, who leads the team with averages of 20.4 points and 11.5 rebounds.
