Week 16 NFL Power Rankings: Giants, Jets Each Fall In National Standings

The New York Giants and Jets both lost Sunday, and the results hurt each franchises' standings in the latest NFL Power Rankings. The two Big Apple teams will face each other this Saturday.

The New York Giants lost their fifth game in six tries Sunday, as Big Blue lost 23-10 to NFC East rival the Washington Redskins at MetLife Stadium. The loss really hurt the Giants (7-7) standings in the NFL's Week 16 Power Rankings, which have New York ranked No. 14 in the rankings, released Tuesday. Meanwhile,'s Peter King's dropped the Giants out of his top 15, which is released on Monday. Last week, New York was ranked No. 11 in both polls.

As for the New York Jets, which also lost Sunday, 45-19, at the Philadelphia Eagles, they're ranked No. 15 in both rankings. Last week, had Gang Green ranked No. 10, while King had them at No. 9.
