No members of the New York Giants lead at their positions in the balloting for the 2012 Pro Bowl. Balloting at nfl.com/probowl will conclude Dec. 19.
The New York Daily News reported that quarterback Eli Manning is fifth in fan balloting despite already having more than 4,000 passing yards, being on pace for more than 5,000 yards and having led five fourth-quarter comebacks.
Two of the players who would be leading Pro Bowl candidates for the Giants, defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and wide receiver Victor Cruz, are not even on the Pro Bowl ballot. Neither player is technically a starter, so they are not listed.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers leads all players in the balloting with 1,263,045 votes.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (1,149,721 votes) leads all AFC players and ranks second overall, while Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson (953,575 votes), New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (908,864 votes) and Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker (896,198 votes) round out the top five.
