The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are taking it easy on their postseason preparations this week for the upcoming 2011 Pinstripe Bowl (Dec. 30) against the Iowa St. Cyclones. Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano said
"They've got a lot on their plate right now," he said following practice today. "They've got final exams, they've got papers, so we're trying not to use very much of their time at all. They're handling it well. They're working hard.
"We're not keeping them here that long. We're not meeting as long. We're not doing any of that stuff. Next week we get into game plan stuff and then it will pick up." (via NJ.com)
The last day of finals at Rutgers is Dec. 23, but Schiano said that most of his players will be done with their finals before then. Rutgers has practices scheduled at home on Dec. 23 and Dec. 26. Their walkthrough is scheduled at Yankee Stadium on Dec. 29.
