Army-Navy Game 2011: TV Coverage, Spread, Time And More

The annual Army-Navy game will be played on Saturday at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, where a rivalry born in 1890 resumes with the teams' 112th meeting.

The Army Black Knights will look to snap a nine-game losing skid against the Navy Midshipmen. The last time Army ousted its archrival was in 2001, when the Black Knights defeated a winless Navy team, 26-17. Since then, the rivalry has been decidedly one-sided, with Navy winning each of the last nine meetings by at least 12 points.

Army, the nation's leading rushing team (350.9 yards per game), will look to overrun a Navy squad that's favored by seven points. The Black Knights (3-8) use a triple option attack spearheaded by Raymond Maples, a sophomore running back who has carried for 984 yards so far this season.

Navy also relies on a strong rushing attack, averaging 313.7 yards per game, good for third in the nation. The Midshipmen, led by quarterback Kriss Proctor, who has rushed for 817 yards and had a hand in 19 touchdowns (12 rushing, seven passing), have stumbled to a 4-7 record, losing six consecutive games at one point earlier in the season.
