Amidst the Jerry Sandusky scandal YES Network's New York Yankees reporter, Kim Jones, a Penn State University alum and former beat reporter for football and men's basketball for Centre Daily Times, joined WFAN's Mike Francesa Monday and talked about the former defensive coordinator, who she covered up until 1999, and head coach Joe Paterno.
"He was always around kids," said Jones about Sandusky. "He always had little boys with him."
Jones also mentioned that Sandusky's action were unusually childish at time. She then moved onto Paterno saying:
"I cannot believe the Joe Paterno that we have come to know and that I covered, I cannot believe that his heart is that black."
These are just clips of the interview with Jones, which extended for just more than a half hour. Listen to the full interview after the jump.
