New York Jets (6-5) At Washington Redskins (4-7): First Look At Sunday's Game

The New York Jets (6-5) travel to the nation's capital this weekend to face the Washington Redskins (4-7) as they try to keep pace in the chase for an AFC wild-card playoff berth. The Jets are a game behind the 7-4 Cincinnati Bengals. The Tennessee Titans and Denver Broncos are also 6-5. Game time is 1 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on CBS.

"I definitely think we're a playoff team. We have to prove it on the field. But I absolutely think we're a playoff team. And then when we get in there, anything can happen," said Jets coach Rex Ryan. "The main thing is to get there. It's tough, it's hard to get in the playoffs every year. I mention that every year. But that's certainly what we plan on doing. I think we'll be a dangerous team when we get there."

The Jets are coming off a much-needed 28-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills. The Redskins defeated the Seattle Seahawks, 23-17, last week to end a six-game losing streak.

The Jets open the week as three-point favorites. You can see the point spreads for all this week's NFL games at SB Nation's NFL Odds Page powered by Odds Shark.
