With Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) out again this week for the New York Giants, running back Brandon Jacobs is a good play for Fantasy Football team owners who have Jacobs on their rosters.
The fantasy projection experts at numberFire originally projected Jacobs for 6.47 fantasy points this week. That numbers has doubled, to 12.95 fantasy points, with the news that Bradshaw will once again sit out Sunday night when the Giants face the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jacobs has carried 18 times in each of the two games Bradshaw has missed, totaling 127 yards (3.5 per carry).
Also working in favor of playing Jacobs this week is the fact that the Giants are playing Philadelphia. The Eagles are 27th in the league, surrendering 4.8 yards per running play.
For fantasy owners who have Bradshaw, the advice is not to panic. Keep him on your bench. He anticipates being able to play Week 12 when the Giants face New Orleans on Monday night.
