Here is your look at this week's Start/Sit Fantasy Football projections for the New York Giants.
START
Eli Manning (QB)
numberFire Projection: 20.91 completion, 245.67 yards, 1.88 TDs, 1.00 INTs, 16.29 Fantasy Points
Analysis: I say it every week, but if you have Manning you have to play him. He is a top-tier quarterback.
Brandon Jacobs (RB)
numberFire Projection: 7.36 carries, 28.78 yards, 0.25 TDs, 2.31 receptions, 20.06 yards, 0.01 TDs, 6.47 Fantasy Points
Analysis: I have to believe these projections are way off. Jacobs has carried 18 times in each of the past two games while subbing for the injured Ahmad Bradshaw. He will probably be the workhorse again this week.
Hakeem Nicks (WR)
numberFire Projection: 5.26 receptions, 74.07 yards, 0.54 TDs, 10.77 Fantasy Points
Analysis: One of the top 10 receivers in the league, and he showed last week he has recovered from his hamstring injury. You have to play him.
Mario Manningham (WR)
numberFire Projection: 4.39 receptions, 70.16 yards, 0.40 TDs, 9.50 Fantasy Points
Analysis: An explosive play-maker who can get you touchdowns.
Victor Cruz (WR)
numberFire Projection: 3.37 receptions, 51.88 yards, 0.25 TDs, 6.71 Fantasy Points
Analysis: Cruz has become a go-to target for Eli Manning.
Jake Ballard (TE)
numberFire Projection: 3.18 receptions, 38.49 yards, 0.31 TDs, 5.70 Fantasy Points
Analysis: The big man continues to produce a surprising amount of offense.
Lawrence Tynes (PK)
numberFire Projection: 1.49 field goals, 2.99 extra points, 8.06 Fantasy Points
Analysis: The Giants keep getting Tynes short field goal opportunities, and the keep scoring a good number of touchdowns.
Giants Defense
numberFire Projection: 8.12 Fantasy Points
Analysis: The Giants have a good defense, and Michael Vick might not play for the Eagles.
SIT
Ahmad Bradshaw (RB)
numberFire Projection: 15.48 carries, 66.12 yards, 0.54 TDs, 3.69 receptions, 27.91 yards, 0.06 RDs, 13.02 Fantasy Points
Analysis: Nice projected numbers, but Bradshaw has to play first. And to play he has to practice. And he has not done that since cracking a bone in his foot three weeks ago. His status in uncertain for Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
