The Rutgers University football program earned a 19-16 double overtime victory over Syracuse University last Saturday at the Carrier Dome. Senior kicker San San Te nailed a 47-yard field goal in the second OT to help the Scarlet Knights earn a three-point advantage and then SU senior running back Antwon Bailey fumbled to cement the victory, which snapped a two-game losing streak to the Orange (3-2). The win also helped the program open up its Big East Conference with a road win for the first time since 2006.
